SUBSTITUTIONS

Lemon Juice: We don’t recommend substituting lemon juice in this recipe. Make sure you use fresh squeezed.

Olive Oil: You can substitute avocado oil for olive oil.

Tahini: Tahini is essential to this recipe, don’t make any substitutes.

Maple Syrup: Maple syrup helps balance out the acidity/fat/salt – we don’t recommend skipping it. You can cut it in half for less sweetness.

Fresh Herbs: We don’t recommend subbing fresh herbs for dry herbs. Fresh herbs taste so much better!

How to Serve

This tahini dressing is great as a marinade on chicken or fish – but it’s even better as a dipping sauce/dressing.

You can serve it over Grilled Vegetable Kebabs or Parmesan Roasted Brussels Sprouts. It’s also great on this Salmon Salad or Strawberry Avocado Salad.
